The following investigation is aimed to reflect and understand on the concept of frontier as a conceptual reconstruction, from the juxtaposition of academic studies and the reconstruction of what it is know in migration as frontier. The investigation is divided in tree parts that develop the complexity of the conceptual use of the word. First we analyze the term form its etymological root crossed by the use that is given to it in everyday life to demonstrate that the identity of the migrant is related on the one hand, on the journey (like the diaspora) that motivates him to look for a new place to live, followed by the hospitality required so he can develop in an respectful environment in a place he can call home, so the frontier can be understood not as a place in witch his own identity is developed. The second part is an analysis from ethics and political philosophy to understand that the migratory crisis are the result of the migratory policies of the Nation States and the controversy that exist in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 13. Finishing with the postcolonial studies related to migration and necropolitics as tools to slow down the migratory flow to the interior of the destination countries. And on the last section the relationship of the irregular migrant¿s identity who faces discrimination by the State when granting nationality, which mutates or changes the applicant¿s identity creating a new one is analyzed. In the end the work of the applied part is explained, this resulted in the creation of a documentary video that explains the conception of the migrants on the word border. In order to achieve this, these questions where asked: How can one define the identity of migrants and their identity if one is constantly evolving? How can you belong to something in a life where you are constantly moving where the only thing that matters is to survive one more day? How does the human being transcend such trips? Stay and die or travel and survive? They have been a guide to delimit my field of study in research.
