Description:	"La Asociación del Santo Entierro de Cristo es una organización que tiene lugar en el municipio de San Juan del Río, Querétaro, desde el año de 1689. Sus integrantes pertenecen a seis barrios antiguos: San Juan, San Isidro, Espíritu Santo, La Concepción, La Cruz y Guadalupe de las Peñas. La Asociación es heredera de la tradición de los antepasados, custodia de la fe que se le profesa al Santo Entierro de Cristo. En este estudio se exponen los motivos y quehaceres de los integrantes de la Asociación, llamados socios. Se habla del Santo Entierro de Cristo analizando antropológicamente el concepto de imagen, así como las cualidades divinas y humanas que el santo posee. Se describe la manera en que los socios se organizan, conceptualizada como un sistema de cargos, mostrando que potencia escenarios de interacción, lo que les permite hacer comunidad. Un punto central son los diferentes eventos protagonizados por el Santo Entierro, éstos se tratan dentro del ciclo ritual anual, describiendo y analizando los rituales a partir de su fragmentación y repetición, haciendo hincapié en las ofrendas. Todo lo descrito da pie para analizar las redes de relaciones que se construyen con el Santo Entierro como eje, con tres tipos de parentesco: consanguíneo, ritual y devocional." "The “Asociación del Santo Entierro de Cristo” is an organization that takes place in the municipality of San Juan del Río, Querétaro since 1689. Its members are distributed among six old neighborhoods: San Juan, San Isidro, Espíritu Santo, La Concepción, La Cruz y Guadalupe de las Peñas. The association is heiress of the ancestors´ tradition, as well as keeper of the faith professed to the Santo Entierro de Cristo. In this study the grounds and tasks of the members of the association, also called partners, are exposed. The image of the Santo Entierro de Cristo is anthropologically analyzed, as well as the divine and human qualities that the saint has. The organization is described, conceptualized as a cargo system, that shows the way the interaction scenarios are strengthen, something that allows the creation of a community. A central point are the different events where the Santo Entierro is a protagonist, these are exposed within an annual ritual cycle, analyzing them from fragmentation and repetition, making emphasis on the offering. What has already been described results in the analysis of the relationship networks that are constructed with the Santo Entierro as the axis; with three main kinship types: consanguinity, ritual and devotional."
