dc.descriptionDentro del sector agropecuario, se han desarrollado diferentes construcciones para el desarrollo de la producción agrícola; la particularidad más notable de este tipo de construcciones es que siempre trabajan con seres vivos y estos son afectados por factores ambientales. Por esta razón se debe proveer a este sector de materiales para la construcción de sus instalaciones que sean resistentes, innovadores y que contribuyan al desarrollo de la producción agrícola. El presente trabajo se divide en tres etapas. En la primera etapa se realizan actividades que no están relacionadas con pruebas en laboratorios. En la segunda etapa se realizan pruebas preliminares a muestras de pasta de cemento y oxido de magnesio y en la etapa final se realizan pruebas a muestras de mortero con oxido de magnesio. Se trabajaron en total 5 mezclas de las cuales se hicieron probetas con dimensiones de 50x50x50 mm. En las mezclas utilizadas el contenido de cemento, arena y agua eran el mismo, siendo el óxido de magnesio el componente que variaba en porcentaje en cada una de las muestras. La variación de óxido de magnesio utilizada en las muestras fue de 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% y 8%. A cada mezcla se le realizaron destructivas y no destructivas para determinar sus propiedades mecánicas.es_ES
