Description:	Una de las cuencas con mayor déficit de agua superficial y sobreexplotación de sus acuíferos es la Cuenca Lerma-Chapala. Los usuarios de agua para riego pertenecientes al Distrito de Riego 011 en el estado de Guanajuato, han visto afectados sus rendimientos por la disminución de los volúmenes de agua disponible en toda la cuenca Lerma-Chapala. Ante este panorama, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo central una propuesta de manejo integrado del agua, donde se requiere de la participación organizada de todos los usuarios para enfrentar el deterioro de los recursos naturales y de acciones concretas para la restauración, conservación y reproducción de éstos. Para ello, se hizo el análisis de la subcuenca de influencia a la pesa Solís, de donde se reciben escurrimientos, donde se encontró en condiciones favorables la subcuenca biofísicamente pero existe un alto nivel de contaminación del agua y algunas zonas que presentan degradación de suelos, sin minimizarlas, son importantes para su conservación, ya que, los suelos son uno de los principales reservorios de agua dulce. Así mismo, se realizó un diagnóstico social en el Distrito de Riego, donde se identifica una carencia de conocimientos en los usuarios en el tema concerniente a la gestión de agua. A partir de estos análisis de propone la protección de la presa Solís a través de la instalación de una barrera verde y el fortalecimiento de la organización de los usuarios. One of the largest deficit basins with surface water and overexploitation of aquifers is the Lerma-Chapala Basin. The irrigation water users belonging to the Irrigation District 011 in the state of Guanajuato, yields have been affected by reduced volumes of water available throughout the Lerma-Chapala watershed. Against this background, the present study has as its main objective a proposal for integrated water management, which requires the organized participation of all users to address the deterioration of natural resources and concrete for the restoration, conservation and reproduction of shares these. For this, the analysis of the sub influence on the scale Solis, where runoff is received, where it was found in the biophysical sub favorable conditions but a high level of water pollution and some areas with soil degradation was made, without minimizing them, they are important for conservation, because the soils are a major freshwater reservoirs. Likewise, a social diagnosis was made in the Irrigation District, where a lack of knowledge users identified in the issue concerning water management. From these analyzes it proposes the protection of Solis dam through the installation of a green barrier and strengthening the organization of users.
