The basis for the investigation made was the study of the daily variations of Solar radiation intensity in conditions of Querétaro, México, with the North latitude close to 23o. These variations were found experimentally at the time of summer solstice (around June 22) when the position of the Sun at noon at this latitude is practically vertical, at equinox time and at winter solstice. For experimental study, the photovoltaic solar panel with the original automatic two-axis solar tracking system was used, without the radiation concentration. To estimate the tracking effect, the comparison was made of the data obtained with those registered by the immobile panel, the latter being orientated in the most profitable way. The panel used was assembled from the crystalline Si solar cells made by the Russian plant ¿Solar Wind¿ along with other panel made experimentally from cells bought from ¿Solar Wind¿. The conclusions made were that at summer solstice, the Sun tracking by solar panel gives 35 % increase of the collected radiation energy; at winter solstice this effect was 28%, and at equinox ¿ 31 %. The other part of the investigation was related to waterheating with a two-axes solar tracking system in order to prove the hypothesis: the use of orientation systems in waterheating with plane solar collectors should show greater increase of efficiency, compared to the orientation of purely photovoltaic system. The system can be applied in the industry, in houses and in greenhouses, the other application (which justifies mostly the two-axes versus one-axis model) is on ships, which constantly change their direction in the sea over the day.
