"This research corresponds to an experimental study, part retrospective, longitudinal, descriptive, and observational. It was developed taking into account 3 types of water for crop production of spinach (Spinacia oleracea) Virofly variety, carrot (Daucus carota) and Nantes variety Romaine (Lactuca sativa) variety Little Gem. Such effluent irrigation were taken from the treatment plant # 4 of Campus Airport, Querétaro, for the period beginning from September 2013 to August 2015, the second effluent was taken in the reactor for obtaining water disinfected by solar photocatalysis (TiO2) and control or that the drinking water standard. From a statistical point of view, these kinds of water treatments were called. The experimental design was the overall factorial design, with a total of 54 experimental units, with type of water: water treated and disinfected drinking (three levels), type of substrate: sand and ground (two levels) and type of vegetable: Lettuce, Carrot and Spinach (three levels) as factors. The response variables were monitored, the plant height, diameter, spad (color) units and number of leaves. The data were obtained three months after planting. A response variables were applied a variance analysis using Minitab computer program, which was determined the existence or nonexistence of significant difference between the types of treatment and response variables in each crop. Showing that treatment with disinfected water by solar photocatalysis soil ground substrate has a significant effect on the product length mainly on lettuce crops (Lactuca sativa) and carrot (Daucus carota), besides being an important factor for the plant color is developed on lettuce, spinach (Spinacia oleracea) on the other hand showed a significant effect on response three variables are as root weight and number of leaves, using water treated with the ground substrate. This can be attributed to the content of metals in the disinfected water, showing they generate stress on plants, they manifested with a time of growth and maturation accelerated compared and treated drinking water. Furthermore in the case of carrot best results were obtained in the development of four response variables such as the cotyledon, true leaf diameter and color, using water with the substrate ground."
