Description:	El presente documento da cuenta de las presencias indígenas en la ciudad de Querétaro, particularmente los casos de los ñäñho (otomíes) originarios del Sur del estado queretano y los tinujei (triqui) procedentes de Oaxaca. Estos casos se seleccionaron por su trayectoria étnica y política en la urbe, con lo cual pudieron generar organizaciones como son Fuerza Hormiga Ñäñho, entre los otomíes, y la Asociación de Artesanos Indígenas Triquis Tinujei A.C., las cuales han gestionado recursos necesarios para su inserción social en temas de vivienda, empleo, educación y cultura, convirtiéndose en portavoces de sus propias necesidades como colectivos. Estos procesos evidencian el papel de la comunidad indígena trasladada a la ciudad, originando discursos de etnicidad que han sido negados y excluidos en el contexto urbano. De manera complementaria también se atiende la postura que ha tenido el Estado en relación a estas poblaciones en la ciudad de Querétaro. La investigación se realizó a partir del método etnográfico aplicado a interlocutores indígenas y funcionarios públicos. This document states the presence of indigenous groups in the city of Querétaro, particularly the cases of the Ñäñho (Otomíes), native to the South of the state of Querétaro and the Tinujei (Triqui), coming from Oaxaca. These cases were selected because of their ethnic and political trajectory in the major city. This is how the created organizations like "Fuerza Hormiga Ñäñho¿, among the otomíes and the ¿Asociación de Artesanos Indígenas Triquis Tinujei A.C¿. These associations have generated the necessary resources for their social insertion in topics like housing, employment, education and culture; becoming representatives of their own needs, as a group. These processes show the role of the indigenous community relocated to the city, creating arguments of ethnicity that have been denied and excluded from the urban context. Complementary it looks after the stance that the state has had in relation to these populations in the state of Querétaro. The investigation was based of the ethnographic method applied to the indigenous speakers and the public servants.
