dc.descriptionCAMBIOS GLUCEMICOS Y PONDERALES EN PACIENTES OPERADOS DE MANGA GÁSTRICA LAPAROSCÓPICA CON FINES BARIÁTRICOS EN EL HOSPITAL GENERAL DE QUERÉTARO La obesidad es un problema de salud pública; afecta a millones de personas a nivel mundial, con alta tasa de morbimortalidad así como enfermedades asociadas. La Cirugía bariátrica actualmente es uno de los tratamientos que ha tenido resultados favorables; en México existen centros en los que la Cirugía para el control de la obesidad ha tenido prometedores resultados. En el Hospital General de Querétaro se realiza desde hace más de 10 años cirugías bariátricas para el tratamiento del paciente obeso mórbido; una las más reproducidas es la manga gástrica laparoscópica (MGL); hasta el momento no existía una revisión de los resultados en los pacientes operados de MGL. Este trabajo muestra el resultado a 6 meses y a los 12 meses de los pacientes operados de MGL, tanto en cambios ponderales así como cambios glucemicos. Se recabo información en el archivo del hospital, en los expedientes de los pacientes operados de MGL realizando un estudio descriptivo ambispectivo y longitudinal. Se recolectaron datos de 32 pacientes operados de MGL . En los que la media de edad fue 44 años, 22 mujeres y 10 hombres. La media pre quirúrgica de IMC fue de 40.9 Kg/m2, la media en el seguimiento a los 6 meses fue de 31.3 Kg/M2, y a los 12 meses de 28.5 Kg/m2. Se sometieron estos cambios a la prueba T de student en los cuales el resultado en su totalidad fue altamente significativo en cuanto al cambio ponderal, la media pre quirúrgica de la glucosa de ayuno fue de 121.8 mg/dl, a los 6 meses de 124.3 mg/dl, y a los 12 meses de 114.5, por lo que el cambio del pre quirúrgico a los 6 meses no fue estadísticamente significativo a la prueba de T, en cambio del pre quirúrgico a los 12 meses si tuvo resultado significativo a la prueba de T. Concluyendo que la MGL es un tratamiento con buenos resultados para el tratamiento de los pacientes con obesidad. Es reproducible inclusive en hospitales de segundo nivel de atención, y los resultados son similares con los resultados de estudios locales, nacionales e internacionales.es_ES
