Description:	El presente trabajo describe el desarrollo de un modelo de optimización para el proceso de rehabilitación de edificios de concreto dañados principalmente por efectos de un sismo; actualmente el proceso es realizado de acuerdo a las normas actuales y la evaluación del daño está basada en gran medida en daños visuales, lo cual puede obviar daños internos en los elementos de la estructura los cuales no es posible detectar a simple vista y que afectaran su comportamiento en un futuro. Un modelo óptimo buscara tomar en cuenta el comportamiento de la estructura dañada buscando un método de rehabilitación que mantenga la frecuencia resonante/natural del edificio en un rango ideal ante futuros sismos teniendo en cuenta también su peso total ya que esto no solo tendrá efecto en cuanto a sus propiedades dinámicas sino también en su cimentación. This paper describes the development of an optimization model in the rehabilitation process on buildings damaged mainly by the effect of earthquakes; currently the process is done according to current regulations, and this damage assessment is greatly based on visual damage which may obviate internal damage in the structure elements since it cannot be detected by mere visual inspection and this will affect the future performance of the structure. An optimal model will seek to take into account the behavior of the damaged structure looking for a rehabilitation method that keeps the building within an ideal range of vibrating frequency and mass too since this will not only affect the dynamic properties of the structure but also its foundation.
