Description:	Esta investigación analiza las principales variables que pueden explicar el grado de tolerancia religiosa en la ciudad de Querétaro dentro del marco de la teoría de la secularización, haciendo especial énfasis en la relación entre este fenómeno y la diversidad social y cultural generada por la migración interna.A partir de la teoría sobre la tolerancia y mediante la aplicación del método comparado y de técnicas cuantitativas, se justifica la selección de la muestra de investigación y se busca poner a prueba la hipótesis de esta investigación. Asimismo, a través de técnicas cualitativas se hace un análisis de las variables que podrían dar cuenta de la presencia del fenómeno de la secularización en los individuos que formaron parte de la muestra, lo cual se relaciona con una mayor tendencia a la tolerancia religiosa; por otro lado, se identifican algunas variables que pueden explicar las razones de cierta propensión a la intolerancia religiosa en un grupo específico de actores de acuerdo con los resultados de las observaciones del trabajo de campo. This research analyzes the main variables which could explain the degree of religious tolerance in the city of Queretaro within the framework of the secularization theory, emphasizing the connection between this phenomenon and social and cultural diversity generated by internal migration.From the Tolerance Theory and by applying comparative method and quantitative techniques, the selection of our sample is thereby justified and it also intends to test this research hypothesis. Furthermore, through the application of qualitative techniques, we analyze some variables which may explain the presence of the secularization phenomenon in the individuals who were part of the sample, which relates to a higher tendency to religious tolerance; on the other hand, some variables are identified which may explain the reasons why there is certain propensity to religious intolerance in a specific group of social actors under the results of our observations in the field.
