Nowadays, the electric power is used around the world. Its generation methods and its high pollution of the environment related to the use of coal and oil are topics of interest for the scientific sector. In this regard, it has led to the investigation of new energy resources, such as geothermal, solar, wind, among others. However, for the efficient production of power energy based on the aforementioned energies, it is necessary to investigate their behavior. Currently, these investigations in the wind energy area are usually quite expensive because they must be carried out in field; besides that, the environmental conditions are not controlled and the transfer times of both generation and measurement equipment are very high. Therefore, in this work an emulator of blades for speed models in a low power wind turbine system is proposed. It is based on the development of a wind tunnel that allows generating wind speed profiles which are very similar to the ones generated under an environmental behavior. In order to perform the tests, at the end of the tunnel, a low power wind turbine is placed. From this turbine, the behavior of the blades under the wind profiles will be measured by considering the output voltage. The emulation system is based on a direct current motor coupled to the low power wind turbine shaft without blades in which a controller is included so that the motor reproduces the voltage obtained from the wind turbine with blades. In general the project consists of three parts, first: the voltage profiles is obtained from the wind turbine with blades according to the wind profiles; second, the new voltage profiles are generated from the emulation system and, finally, these new profiles will serve to obtain blades models according to each wind profile using statistical modeling techniques. To obtain the emulation and modeling, seven different wind profiles and the modeling variant ARX are used where the obtained results are very satisfactory since the error percentages do not exceed 1.2 % and 20%, respectively; also, the behavior associated to the number of blades and the wind speed profile are correctly correlated.
