Description:	La presente tesis trata sobre cómo la administración de justicia actuó en contra de los hombres y mujeres que cometieron un homicidio en Querétaro entre 1822 y 1835. Este periodo comprende el cambio de gobierno en el territorio mexicano; de formar parte de la Monarquía Hispánica a conformar la Primer República Federal ya como país independiente. Esta situación tuvo consecuencias en la manera en cómo se administró la justicia a criminales y por ello los procesos en contra de los homicidas fueron irregulares. A lo largo de esta investigación es posible observar el momento en donde convergieron los infractores, los abogados, los encargados de impartir justicia y la forma en la que aplicaron las leyes. Dicho enfrentamiento abrió una brecha importante a la negociación de sentencias, en donde uno de los argumentos más fuertes y más utilizados fue el honor. This thesis studies how the justice administration works against the men and women who committed a homicide in Queretaro between 1822 and 1835. This period includes the change of government in Mexican territory; from been part of the Hispanic Monarchy, to form the First Federal Republic as an independent country. This situation had consequences in the way in which justices was administered to criminals and therefore the processes against the murderers were irregular. Throughout this investigation it is possible to observe the moment in which the offenders, the lawyers, the ones in charge of imparting justice and the way in which they applied the laws converged. This confrontation opened an important gap to the negotiation of sentences, where one of the strongest and most used arguments was the honor.
