dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este trabajo es acercarse a conocer la perspectiva que tienen los jóvenes de diversos contextos sociodemográficos del estado de Querétaro sobre la privacidad y el manejo que hacen de la misma en Internet. Teórica y conceptualmente el análisis se sustenta en las proposiciones de la economía política de la comunicación, así como de las hechas por Jürgen Habermas sobre el ensamblamiento de la esfera pública y el ámbito privado. La metodología es mixta con preponderancia cualitativa y se realiza en dos fases; la primera implica la aplicación de un cuestionario con preguntas abiertas y cerradas sobre el acceso y los usos de internet; la segunda consta de un taller sobre la privacidad en la red. Los resultados dejan ver una brecha en el acceso a Internet entre el contexto rural y el urbano; sin embargo, la mayoría de los jóvenes usan Internet y sus redes sociales. En cuanto al manejo de la privacidad, si bien no es una prioridad, los jóvenes están conscientes de su vulnerabilidad en la red y formulan sus propuestas al respecto.es_ES
dc.descriptionThe objective of this work is to get to know the perspective of young people from different socio-demographic contexts of the state of Querétaro, Mexico, on privacy and the handling of the same on the Internet. Theoretical and expressions of the analysis is based on the proposals of the political economy of communication, as well as those made by Jürgen Habermas on the articulation of public sphere and the private sphere. The methodology is mixed with qualitative preponderance and is carried out two phases; the fist involves the application of questionnaire with open and closed questions on access and the use of the Internet; the second consist of a workshop on privacy in the network. The results show a breach in the access to Internet between the rural context and the urban one; nevertheless, most of the young people use Internet and its social networks. As for the handling of the privacy, although it is not a priority, the young people are conscious of its vulnerability in the network and formulate its proposals on this matter.es_ES
